Dutchess County Supervisor's and Mayors Association

Supervisor Wagner currently serves as the President of the Dutchess County Supervisor's and mayor's Association. The association is a non-partisan group made up of each Town Supervisor, Village and City mayor of Dutchess County.

The association works across pary lines to tackle diverse problems affecting our Municipalities. There is truth to the saying that there is strength in numbers. The Supervisor's and Mayors work together to find solutions and cost savings measures.

Supervisor Wagner volunteers for the position, and strongly believes that the association benefits the taxpayers of LaGrange.

Preservation of Cable franchise Fees as a Revenue Source
Opposition to the Levy of a New MTA Payroll Tax
Shared Municipal Services

Poughkeepsie Dutchess County Transportation Council

Supervisor Wagner serves as a voting member of the PDCTC. The Poughkeepsie-Dutchess County Transportation Council (PDCTC) serves as the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for Dutchess County, responsible for ensuring that federal transportation funds are committed through a locally driven, comprehensive planning process.  Federal statutes require that urbanized areas with over 50,000 people be represented by a MPO.  The PDCTC provides a forum for state and local officials to discuss transportation issues and, in turn, reach a consensus on transportation plans and various highway and transit projects in Dutchess County; the PDCTC has performed this task since 1982.

Dutchess Airport Joint Landfill Board of Governors

Supervisor Wagner serves as a voting member Dutchess Airport Board of Governors. That board has oversight responsibilities for the closure and maintenance of the former landfill shared by numerous municipalities. the landfill was ordered closed and capped by the NYS DEC. The Board of Governors managed the closure and the contractors doing the work. Once closure was completed to the DEC's satisfaction, maintenance of the site began and is now managed by the board/
